  • Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis): Sometimes called the "happy herb", Lemon Balm is an aromatic nervine indicated for the busy bees in our lives. Wonderful at alleviating insomnia and restlessness associated with stress and anxiety.  As a member of the mint family, this herb is superb at easing nervous digestion and holds antiviral properties.

Milky Oats (Avena sativa): The dried tops of unripe oats in the "milky" stage. Known as food for the nervous system, Milky Oat tops are powerful allies for protecting and restoring damaged neurons, soothing frazzled nerves, and supporting convalescence. Milky Oats are also deeply nutritive and rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and several trace minerals.

Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora)A somewhat bitter yet very relaxing nervine, Skullcap offers support to those experiencing insomnia associated with embodied restlessness and worried thinking. Its antispasmodic properties may also be helpful to those who have trouble relaxing due to muscular tension.

Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)The distinctly familiar aroma of chamomile calls in quiet relaxation. Energetically cooling and nourishing, chamomile brings gentle sedative and anxiolytic effects with its rich terpene profile. It is also soothing to digestive upset caused by nervous irritability.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia):  Lavender is a relaxant nervine whose floral notes are well sought after in aromatherapy. It can be supportive to those with disrupted sleep associated with anxiety, depression, grief, and stuck energy and tension. According to Nicolas Culpeper (1616-1654), lavender is ruled by virgo and is associated with earth and beauty.
