This loose leaf tea comes in a compostable food grade pouch. 

 

Ingredients: Lemon Balm*, Milky Oats*, Skullcap*, Chamomile*, Lavender* (*Organic)

 

Suggested Use: Pour 8-10oz boiled water over 1-1.5 tablespoons of tea. Cover and allow to steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain and ease into a restful evening. Naturally caffeine free.

  • Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis): Sometimes called the "happy herb", Lemon Balm is an aromatic nervine indicated for the busy bees in our lives. Wonderful at alleviating occasional sleeplessness and restlessness..  As a member of the mint family, this herb is superb at easing nervous digestion and holds immune-supportive properties. 

     

    Milky Oats (Avena sativa): The dried tops of unripe oats in the "milky" stage. Known as food for the nervous system, Milky Oat topsmay be useful protecting and restoring damaged neurons, soothing frazzled nerves, and supporting convalescence. Milky Oats are also deeply nutritive and rich in minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and several trace minerals. 

     

    Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora)A somewhat bitter yet very relaxing nervine, Skullcap offers support to those experiencing insomnia associated with embodied restlessness and worried thinking. Its antispasmodic properties may also be helpful to those who have trouble relaxing due to muscular tension. 

     

    Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)The distinctly familiar aroma of chamomile calls in quiet relaxation. Energetically cooling and nourishing, chamomile brings gentle sedative and anxiolytic effects with its rich terpene profile. It is also soothing to digestive upset caused by nervous irritability. 

     

    Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia):  Lavender is a relaxant nervine whose floral notes are well sought after in aromatherapy. It can be supportive to those with disrupted sleep associated grief, stuck energy, and tension. According to Nicolas Culpeper (1616-1654), lavender is ruled by Virgo and is associated with earth and beauty.
